Easy Computer Training Now tailor courses to meet individuals needs, so we don’t have “set in stone” programmes. It’s a bit like Pick N Mix.
Remember when you didn’t want just one bag of Rhubarb and Custards, or Cola Cubes or Sherbet Lemons….you wanted a bit of all of them! When Pick N Mix came along it was such a success as you could have a bit of everything you liked ! Our courses are along those lines …… you can have a bit of everything (but just the bits you want to have and not the bits you don’t)
All courses will have Objectives that should be met at the end of each training session. If you attend a course and do not meet the Objectives then we will work with you to see how best we can do this.
Here are just some of the courses that we deliver and we can mix and match as necessary:
- How to use Windows Explorer and install and open applications
- How to manage files and folders
- How to use Email including sending attachments
- How to use Google and other search engines
- How to use Word – from creating simple documents to learning how to Mail Merge
- How to use Excel – from creating simple tables to managing large amounts of data
- How to use PowerPoint – from creating a simple presentation to creating a slide show with effects
This is just a short list of what we offer, but know that many of you also want to know
- How to socialise on the internet (i.e Facebook, Skype, Twitter and MSN)
- How do download photos
- How to download music
The list of training that can be provided is endless but if you let us know what your specific training needs are, it is highly likely that others already want to learn the same thing that you do.
Webinar Training
We will provide most of our courses via Webinars. A Webinar is a Seminar that is delivered over the Web (internet) hence the term Webinar. It is interactive and attendees can ask questions during the webinar.
As long as you have internet and phone connection you can attend this training from anywhere.
You will be provided with a Step by Step guide of the training to be delivered. A trainer will then give a live online presentation, going over the Step by Step guide so you can see exactly what you need to do.
You will then get a chance to follow the Step by Step guide to make sure you have achieved the objective of the training. If you get stuck following the guide, you are able to speak to the trainer there and then and get help.
A webinar will last from 1 to 2 hours or so depending on the topic.
The current webinar schedule can be found here
Benefits of a webinar
- You can “attend” a live training course from the comfort of your own home or office (or anywhere as long as you have internet connection) which is great if the weather is really bad – you can stay in the warmth and still get the training you need. Grab a cuppa, get your computer switched on and learn some great stuff.
- No travelling time!
- No need to find babysitters

- If you don’t feel well you are more likely to switch your computer on and attend training (in your pyjamas if you want) than if you had to get ready and travel somewhere for training.
- You can be anonymous. Some people don’t like being in a training room with others and won’t ask questions in case it is perceived as a “silly” question. (By the way there is no such thing as a silly question). On a webinar you don’t see other attendees so some people may be more confident asking a question, if they don’t understand something or if they get stuck.
Classroom Training
Small training sessions will be held for around 10 to 12 people in a Central London location.
Other locations may be considered soon. These will be longer sessions than the webinars due to people travelling etc so we want to make the most of the day. More topics will therefore be included than on a webinar.
Benefits of classroom training
- You can mix with other trainees and will probably soon realise that many others have the same fear or lack of confidence around computers that you have. This makes people feel much better once they realise it’s not only them with the fear.
- On hands help from the trainer – whereas the webinar is over the internet. Some people prefer someone in the same room as them.
- For some people, it’s just nice to get away from home or the office and go somewhere else for training.
In house training – great if you have a business
If you have a small or medium size business, we can deliver training at your offices. Courses will be tailored to the needs of your team and of course your customers. You will need to contact Eileen directly for this service
If you need IT systems in place, we can help with this.
If you need corporate branding i.e all letters, invoices etc have same style and look to them, then we can do this for you
If you really do not want to attend a webinar or classroom training then training at your home can be considered. This depends on your location as we are based in Central London.
